New Merit Badge Counselor Registration Form
Effective immediately, please use the BSA Merit Badge Counselor Information form to add new merit badge counselors and/or update or delete merit badges. The new form was just released (2013 printing).
As a reminder, all merit badge counselor applications should be submitted to the Lawrenceville or Jefferson Scout store and don't forget to make a copy of all documentation that you submit.
New applications will also need to include an Adult Leader Application with code 42 in the position box (no fee required) and a copy of your current Youth Protection training certificate (valid until at least the end of the year you are applying in).
 
New Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook
There is a new version of the Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook, this new version has expandable text boxes and the ability to insert images in JPEG, GIF, TIF, and PNG formats. This new version is available on The Eagle Scout Website under the Forms tab.
 
Merit Badge Completions at Summer Camp
The Council Advancement Committee receives, each year after summer camp at CRM, questions from some units about the unit's ability to "allow" or "disallow" merit badges signed off by our Summer Camp Staff.
National Advancement Policy states that once a merit badge has been signed off by an approved, registered, merit badge counselor it is considered earned and the Scout must be credited with earning the badge. Read More...
