Program Preview & Ice Cream Party
It's time again to meet for our annual program preview meeting. Put this date in your calendar July 18th at LDS Church, Lawrenceville Ward (Map) 6:30 PM Sundae Bar - 7:00 PM meeting. Please invite the other leaders in your unit. All are invited. Information on the upcoming Scouting years will be available. Each unit needs to have a representative at this meeting to receive their program preview materials.
Summer Camp Survey
Attention Scoutmasters! Below is a survey to indicate when and where your Troop is going to camp this summer. Also included in the survey is a space for you to update your Troop's Scoutmaster and Committee Chair contact information. We are asking that all Scoutmasters complete the survey so the Apalachee District Committee may have this information for the upcoming year. To complete the survey just click here. 2013 Day Camps
Join us for a Dinosaur Adventure at the 2013 Apalachee District Day and Twilight Camps. Day Camps date and locations are as follows

Day Camps run from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM and the Twilight Camps run from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Early Drop-off and late Pick-up options are available. All boys are invited to attend (even boys not currently in Cub Scouts!). Early Bird registration is only $65 for the entire week (till May 11th). Day Camps include all crafts,
Pathfinders
Back by popular demand Pathfinders 2013 offers your scout the opportunity to spend a day or more at Scoutland (map) and earn a merit badge then go home to sleep in his own bed at night. Your Scout can earn his choice of Archery, First-Aid, Fishing, Radio, Leatherwork and Basketry, Photography and Fingerprinting, Rifle Shooting, Swimming, Welding, and Wood Carving. Scouts can attend from June 10th – 14th and June 17th – 21st.
BALOO Training Opportunity
Attention all Cub Scout leaders there will be a Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation or BALOO Training on July 27, 2013 from 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM at Shadowbrook Baptist Church (map). The cost is $15.00 per person this will cover all training materials and lunch. Registration deadline is July 23th. Sorry, there will be no provisions for childrenWood Badge

The Powder Horn course is designed to expose older youth and adult leaders in the BSA to safely conduct outdoor/high adventure activities of a fun and challenging nature.
